What You Need

Tesla requires every Fleet API app to host a public key at a specific HTTPS URL:

https://your-domain/.well-known/appspecific/com.tesla.3p.public-key.pem

Setup Steps (After Getting Your Key)

  1. Sign up at developer.tesla.com and create an application
  2. Set your Allowed Origin to the domain from your myTesla.io key URL
  3. Call POST /api/1/partner_accounts to register your public key with Tesla
  4. Generate OAuth tokens using the third-party token flow
  5. Pair your virtual key with your vehicle(s)
