1. Service Description
myTesla.io ("the Service") provides Tesla Fleet API public key hosting. We generate ECDSA P-256 key pairs, host your public key on a dedicated server with HTTPS, and email your private key to you.
2. Account & Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. Your account is identified by your email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account and private key.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
- Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, a Stripe company (Merchant of Record)
- The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial
- You may cancel anytime through the billing portal
- Cancellation during a free trial results in no charge
- After cancellation, your key remains hosted for a limited grace period
- Refunds are handled by LemonSqueezy per their refund policy
- Prices may change with 30 days notice to active subscribers
4. Key Hosting
- Each subscriber receives a dedicated hosting account with a unique HTTPS URL
- Your public key is hosted at a fixed path required by Tesla's Fleet API
- We aim for 24/7 availability but do not guarantee a specific uptime SLA
- We are not responsible for Tesla's use of or response to your hosted key
5. Private Keys
- Private keys are generated on our server and emailed to you
- We immediately delete the private key after sending — we do not store it
- You are solely responsible for storing your private key securely
- If you lose your private key, you must regenerate a new key pair through the dashboard
- We cannot recover a lost private key
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Abuse the API endpoints (rate limits are enforced)
- Resell the Service without prior written consent
- Upload content other than Tesla Fleet API public keys to your hosted account
7. Account Termination
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- We may terminate accounts that violate these terms
- Upon cancellation: limited grace period, then key URL deactivated
- After 90 days: hosting account and all data deleted
8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. You use the Service at your own risk.
We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:
- Downtime, service interruptions, or outages
- Loss of data, private keys, or access
- Tesla blocking, restricting, or changing their Fleet API, key hosting requirements, or third-party integrations
- Any third-party actions that affect the Service's functionality
- Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service
Our total liability to you is zero. You acknowledge that the Service depends on third-party infrastructure and Tesla's Fleet API, both of which are outside our control and subject to change without notice.
9. Service Termination
We reserve the right to terminate the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to legal action, infrastructure changes, or business decisions. In the event of service-wide termination:
- We will make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers via email
- No refunds will be issued for any remaining subscription period
- Your hosted key will be deactivated and data deleted per our standard retention schedule
10. Refund Policy
All sales are final. Refunds are generally not provided. The 7-day free trial on the annual plan allows you to evaluate the Service before any charge is made. By subscribing after the trial period (or by choosing the monthly plan without a trial), you accept the terms of the Service.
Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, a Stripe company, acting as Merchant of Record. Any refund requests are subject to LemonSqueezy's policies and require our approval. Chargebacks may result in immediate account termination.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers:
- Tesla, Inc. — We are not affiliated with Tesla. Tesla's Fleet API and its requirements are controlled by Tesla.
- LemonSqueezy (a Stripe company) — Payment processing, subject to their terms
- Microsoft Azure — Infrastructure hosting
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
